Smoke Alarm Legislation (QLD) – All residential properties must have interconnected, photoelectric smoke alarms installed in every bedroom, hallway, and level. By 1 January 2027, all dwellings in Queensland must comply with these requirements, ensuring properties remain insurable and meet safety regulations.
